I love this guy.

EDIT: I do feel sorry for anyone who hasn't yet played Portal. It's been so praised, very aspect of it, that it can't live up to expectations. I got it when it was first available and I'd only heard a few words of praise and I loved it but if I was to play it now, I don't think it would match the fan hype.

You have to rein in that sense of hype with the benefit of experience and your own expectations about games.
Some games do live up to the hype but rarely and that's because hype is completely artificial and without a sense of boundaries.

I'm definitely getting this for the 360 when I have some money.

I have to agree with him. Just started and beat Portal last night and it was the best puzzle game I've probably ever played. I ended up spending the whole next day at work thinking of how is was going to get past all the challenge levels. unfortunately for me I'm going to spend WAY to much of my life accomplishing that feat.
