Ironically my Steam installation is currently downloading the game as I watch this review.

This is one of his older review's, he did it back on August 22nd. I didn't see a new one for this week, I'd guess he's enjoying a Christmas break and is busy reviewing the Turkey and Stuffing or what-ever a Brit living in Australia eats for Christmas dinner.

It's a fun game.. played it and beat it in about 4 days -- so what if it was demo -- i had to get it off my computer somehow!

Psychonauts is freakin' awesome. Though the last two levels are insanely annoying. One being a crazy "you have to jump here, then here, then here NO HERE!" kind of level.

Full Throttle was also really good, but I haven't had the chance to play Grim Fandango. Maybe Shafer's next game will satisfy the "twitch" crowd. It's called Brütal Legend and seems to kinda be a cross between Black & White, GTA, and Guitar Hero. Either way, it will be quite violent.

Upvote because I just bought Psychonauts two days ago via Steam and haven't been able to stop playing it, well, besides now to check the sift. The game really is refreshing and fun! This review is spot on as well. If I could upvote twice I would!

More people need to see this review so they can be convinced to play Psychonauts!

Psychonauts is one of the best, most original games I've played in years. I was hooked and played through in about 3-4 days. This review is pretty spot on... and yes, you should inflict pain on yourself if you haven't gotten it yet.

You're suppose to put the pen between teh fingers, squeeze the fingers together, and then start twisting the pen.

It's an ancient torture method used to interrogate prisoners by binding their legs together on a chair and bending their thigh upwards in ancient Fast East.

And I say psychonaughts wasn't as successful as it should've been because it just couldn't keep up with the marketing power of all other major releases. You need advertisements man! Advertisements! Get a nerdy celebrity to talk about your game on a show or something!!

I bought Psychonauts about a year ago and love it. I can't figure out how to get to the top of the STUPID meat circus though. grr....
