Where's the double-necked electric harp when you need it? Up vote anyway.

lol thinker247. What, a harp isn't rock 'n roll enough for ya? :-)

It would only be rock and roll if she threw the harp against the wall and smashed it into a thousand pieces afterward, then convulsed on the floor in a drug-induced stupor.

Not as good as it could be because of her hesitation as she looks on the sheet music. That's like giving a speech with awkward pauses as you look for the next words on the script.

You have obviously never been to a classical concert.

Wrong. I am not saying it's uncommon, I'm saying it's suboptimal. The best soloists memorize their parts and the sheet music is only backup.

Watch out...you wouldn't want to "objectify" her.

S.T.H. is one of those perfect songs that sound just-really-good to mind-bendingly-awesome depending on what instrument is played. I should try to find the accordian version I listened to a couple years back.

I was going to say something objectifying, but then her smile at the end made me feel sad.

It just isn't Stairway without long hair, tight pants, and, oh yeah, Jimmy Page.

I sorta dig the pause she makes. Modest imperfection gives a piece heart. Now all she needs is to add a little soul and she'll be a goddess.

sorry rottenseed since I'm not disregarding her personal and intellectual capabilities I'd say I'm miles away from objectifying her.

She is a cheerleader, I like cheerleaders. She plays harp. I like harp. Not sure where the objectifying comes into it. Now if she was being paid/forced by some unscrupulous person to pretend to be a sexy harp playing cheerleader then that would be objectification.

She's missing the middle of the song:

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll
Woe oh oh oh oh oh
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

I don't know, I think the "rock out" part kinda has to be missed. It would sound stupid/jeuvenile given the instrument. Now if she had someone on bass backing her...

I wouldn't kick her out of bed, except to fuck her on the floor. Oh yeah, and the harp was cool.

She turns her head away from the harp so she can breathe in.

Okay, a lesson about the objectification of women.

Done right: This is clearly a woman with tremendous passion for music, creatively blending a very unorthodox classical instrument with a powerful piece of classic rock music. You can see her perfect posture, the graceful movement of her hands across the instrument. You can see that faraway, wistful look on her beautiful face as she revels in the enjoyment of the piece...what man could resist her?

Done wrong: Dude, she's hot. I'd love to climb her Stairway to Heaven.

I guess my 474 votes mean nothing to such an elitist as yourself. I'm sorry, I will now eat breath and live the sift so I can be just like yourself. I thought people gained ground on the sift for not attacking other individuals, but wait, maybe its only the peons who cannot spew trolling hate threads for no other purpose than to attack someone. My bad, thanks for teaching me the ways of the sift.

And I guess the sarcasm in my lowly attempt at humor by objectifying the nice young girl who plays the harp so elegantly, was lost upon you.

Lowly attempt at humor, yes. Sarcasm? I didn't see any.

However, choggie's reply was dripping with it.

"Sarcasm is a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual."

Hmm...so I guess you were right. Since I really would do her on the floor then I wasn't being sarcastic.

And MarineGunrock, since, I, didn't, use, a, comma, I usually eat breath for mornings only. Helps me wake up.

There was another video of her on youtube playing Sabre Dance on the harp. In that one she's not following any sheet music, and I think the song sounds better than stairway to heaven. Though it isn't as visually appealing as this one as the lighting isn't as good and she's dressed more of for cheerleading practice in sweats.

Sorry, just didn't see how your remark was satirizing harps, her talent, her attire, her choice of music, Robert Plant's penchant for tight fitting leather pants, or anything else in the vid.

And if both apply? Though, she looks young enough for me to think it to be a felony.
