This disgusted me. We're at war, the economy is in the shitter, and our leaders are so insulated from the suffering it borders on the obscene.

Cheney's gallows humor wouldn't be so offensive if he was making light of his own hanging, rather than the country he purports to lead.

Ohhhh come on guys... that wasn't all bad. I know, of course, he had no hand in writing it, but on some level you've gotta appreciate taking the mickey outta yourself.

We already know this guy's a complete tyrant - I get it. It's obvious - but you can't take things too seriously all the time, or you'll just end up crying yourself to sleep.
