I was befuddled, but now I am delighted. Danke.
Here is your answer.
THE MESSAGE OF THE GEORGIA GUIDESTONES (New World Order Rules)
1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.
Limiting the population of the earth to 500 million will require the extermination of nine-tenths of the world's people. The American Stonehenge's reference to establishing a world court foreshadows the current move to create an International Criminal Court and a world government. The Guidestones' emphasis on preserving nature anticipates the environmental movement of the 1990s, and the reference to "seeking harmony with the infinite" reflects the current effort to replace Judeo-Christian beliefs with a new spirituality.

Then watch this video - Now tell me they showed you this stuff in school. Highly Doubt it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ewshk_vjCKA&feature=related
Plus if you actually do your homework you'd know this stuff by now.
Thanks for listening at least most don't even comment.
I define a troll as an attention-seeker who adds nothing to any point of view (including his/er own) but annoyance to all. I don't think I've ever met one on the sift; just people with opposing points of view.
I've claimed the moniker of many philosophies and religions in my past, atheism merely being my current guise. So far it fits better than others, despite my penchant for fate and karma, as well as a love for world myth. I think, however, there is a difference between what we'd like to believe and what is true. (Though I admit truth is difficult to grasp, reality itself being subject to skepticism.)
Yes, reality is subjective, and quite possibly an illusion. While no religion or philosophy contains the Entire Truth, expressions of truth can be found in all. I don't have an issue with atheism itself or atheists as individuals, but I don't like this modern thread of atheism that is openly antagonistic towards religion to the point of giving it no credit...to me this is "throwing the baby out with the bathwater".
I get your criticism of Dawkins, your comments have been quite accurate.
I appreciate the compliment. To a degree I admire Dr. Dawkins and his ideas. His idea of "the selfish gene" is brilliant, and he and other outspoken atheists are vital to keeping the religious "honest" and questioning their own faith....where the "new" atheism and the old differ is the new atheism demands that its conclusions don't allow for people to grow in their faith.
This is simply my way of attempting two things: To make a new friend, and glean some knowledge.
Sho nuff!

A single upvote for your comment is not enough.
The saddest thing about hate mongers like O'Reily is that they raise hate within their opponents. In real life one simply ignores such people to remain sane, but O'reily is out there on television so it just eats you up.
I should seriously just avoid watching anything with him in it, because it's killing my blood pressure. lol

It's clips like this that leave me mostly speechless. Not because there's nothing to say but because the rage in me is louder than the peace. It has become so incredibly hard to calmly articulate responses to videos like this where the voice of reason and calm get drowned out by loud, angry, and completely unapologetic hate and ignorance. I despise the fact that my own feelings of hatred and anger precede my feelings of reason and decency. I want to call for bill's head on a plate at the top of my lungs even though I know it would only fuel the fire that's currently destroying my beloved country.
I don't recognize my home anymore, and at times I don't recognize myself.
The Bible we know was passed down through many generations and translated from language to language over the years. Many other writings that can be traced back to the same time period can be translated to read differently than do the many versions of the Bible in English today.
Here's one example of how certain things are lost over time. None of the Scrolls of Enoch (Fragments were found with the Dead Sea Scrolls) are included in the Old Testament, but Enoch is mentioned as a man who was taken up to return with God because he was so righteous.
I believe the original texts of the Bible (as written by the prophets) to have been 100% accurate. It is no longer 100% accurate due to error and corruption by man. Any logical human can see that there are many metaphors, similes, and fables in The Bible. 1000 years in Bible time could represent any length of time. Who knows how long Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden as immortals?

Here's the thing that bothers me, I have heard that the bible is "the word of god given to man". so if that is the case, then isn't it blasphemy to NOT take the bible literally? because god is omniscient, omnipresent and other omnis right? so he knows better than us as to the correct behavior, so we should stone our neighbors if they are wearing more than two types of cloth.
Is there anywhere in biblical scripture that specifically states that 100% of the Bible is the word of G-O-D? I'm not an expert on said text, but maybe someone can clarify this for me.
